Blonde locks, pale skin and dramatic eyeliner. Who could it be but Avril Lavigne?
The 28-year-old posted the cover of her new, self-titled album on Instagram earlier today featuring a closeup of her face against an all-black background.
"Thanks to all my fans for the amazing support! Here's an exclusive look at the cover of my new, self-titled album!" she captioned the pic.
Lavigne's upcoming fifth studio album is set to be released later this year (Sept. 24 to be exact), featuring the already released lead single "Here's to Never Growing Up."
"It's just about being young and having fun, being present, living in the moment, and that's what I love to do," Lavigne told Ryan Seacrest during an interview. "I wanted to write something fun and kind of like a summer song, and I feel like we nailed it."
One of the four other artists on the track includes her new hubby and Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger.
The two were married in the beginning of July at the Château de la Napoule in the South of France. In attendance were 50 of the singers' closest friends and family.
Shortly after the wedding, Lavigne went back to work. She was spotted just a couple of weeks ago filming her new music video in this bizarre costume. We're not sure what song this video is for, but we'll find out soon enough!
