Much like the rest of the world, we're still buzzing about Beyoncé's dramatic pixie cut, and certainly recognize that hair can make a huge impact on how you look, feel and carry yourself.

From divalicious long locks to a cool cropped cut, a star's tresses say a lot about them.

While we anxiously await more pretty pics of Queen Bey's daring new 'do, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on all of the impressive celeb hair transformations we've witnessed over the years.

Here are a few of the standout stars with unforgettable hair moments:

Beyoncé: The glamorous girl is known for her signature long curls on- and offstage, while her hair color is usually a sun-kissed caramel shade. We've also seen her rock larger-than-life tight curls in a cinnamon red, two-toned shoulder-length locks and more. Most impressively, of course, is her current pixie cut.

Miley Cyrus: The darling Disney star has totally evolved from a sweet country girl with long, loose waves to an edgy rocker chick with a platinum blond pixie cut. Our favorite look of all, though, was her sweet-yet-sassy shoulder-length bob with ombré coloring. This style magnificently captured the best of both worlds!

Rihanna: When it comes to hair updates, Rihanna doesn't play by the rules. The sexy singer has stepped out with just about every hair color, length and style imaginable. From vibrant red locks to bright blond and even a shocking gray shade, she's wild when it comes to experimenting with her 'do.

Rachel McAdams: The Notebook star is a chameleon when it comes to rocking hair colors. We've seen her with a dark brunette chin-length bob to brassy blond long locks to ravishing red hues. She even rocked a bright pink dip-dye effect.

Natalie Portman: When you're as striking as Portman, just about any hairstyle looks good on you! The brunette actress boldly shaved her head for a dramatic role in V for Vendetta back in 2006, proving that she doesn't even need long locks to turn heads, and then rocked a cute pixie cut while she waited for it to grow out. We've also seen her as a beautiful blonde for a refreshing update to her typical look.
