Ellen DeGeneres was the first to weigh in on the pop star's new look. She joked about how similar she and Bey now are, saying, "If you had trouble telling me and @Beyonce apart before…"
She attached one of the "Crazy in Love" singers' pics from her Instagram last night, where she debuted her new crop cut to her millions of followers.
But the comedian wasn't the only one who playfully addressed the cut heard (and seen) around the world.
Girls star Lena Dunham shared her thoughts on the matter in a signature self-deprecating way.
"I feel like Beyoncé is having a very different experience of short hair than I am #bowdown," she wrote.
The 31-year-old flaunted her ‘do in a few selfie shots on her fave photo sharing site earlier.
She's almost unrecognizable with her new style, and we're wondering if the hair-raising incident on stage with the fan had something to do with this drastic change.
The major hair update comes just two days after the summer leg of her Mrs. Carter Show tour wrapped, so we're betting that Bey was simply ready to let loose and be free!
