Charlize Theron and her son, Jackson, were minutes away from boarding a private jet at a Los Angeles airport. But before bags were checked and seatbelts were fastened, the mother-son duo squeezed in a little fun and games near the tarmac.
Wearing a denim skirt and a striped T-Shirt, Theron playfully picked up her son and lifted him high up to the sky. She would later carry him over her shoulders, even pretending to let him slip.
Jackson, who was seen holding a Toy Story toy for the plane ride, couldn't stop laughing and smiling as his mom joked around with him.
Where the tight-knit family is traveling to is anyone's guess. However, with Theron celebrating her 38th birthday today, we have no doubts the destination won't disappoint. Just last weekend, the actress enjoyed an early celebration in Italy with close friends.
When it comes to the actual day, however, the birthday girl is choosing to spend it with those who matter most…her family!
