An eyewitness tells E! News exclusively that the 20-year-old Jonas Brothers singer and Miss Universe Olivia Culpo, 21, were dining together at Ovest Pizzoteca in New York City on Thursday night.
"Nick was leaning in towards her across the table like she was saying something really important," the source tells us.
Once the duo were done eating, they began walking down the street hand-in-hand. "They looked really happy when they walked together," the source added. "Me and my friend both agreed they were, like, swinging their arms all happily."
Neither Jonas nor Culpo's camp was available for comment. The restaurant confirms, meanwhile, that the singer was present that night.
Prior to arriving at Ovest Pizzoteca, the potential couple were spotted leaving Nick's apartment. "They were holding hands and there were fans standing outside," the source tells us. "As soon as they saw the fans, they stopped holding hands."
While the Jonas bro was chatting with fans, Culpo continued to walk up the street and then waited for him.
Another source tells E! News, "They had an innocent dinner date. They like each other," and added it is very early in their dating and they're not sure just how serious it will become.
Nick cohosted the 2013 Miss USA pageant alongside Giuliana Rancic, where he met Culpo—the former Miss USA who was subsequently crowned Miss Universe 2012.
Since receiving the title, Culpo has had potential suitors lining up, including Olympic-medal winner Ryan Lochte (#JEAH), who called her "a good girl to hang out with."
