And just what did these A-listers decide to call their new addition? Luna, according to Spanish magazine Vanitatis, who reported that Bardem registered their daughter's name at Madrid's central registrar office Tuesday morning. (Reps for the couple have yet to comment on the baby's name.)
That said, Cruz, 39, delivered Luna at Madrid's Ruber Internacional Hospital on July 22, with Bardem, 44, reportedly by her side. This is the second child for the couple, who also have a 2-year-old son named Leo.
Last year, the brunette bombshell opened up to Harper's Bazaar about how motherhood has changed her for the better, saying, "I am living for every day and trying to have less fear, less worry."
One thing she won't be worrying about is scaling back on her work schedule in order to spend more time with her family. "Maybe I'll make one movie a year, maybe two," she told the mag, "but it's not going to be more than that because I have other priorities now."
Understandable! And with a 2-year-old and a newborn, Mrs. Bardem's already got quite a lot on her plate!
