Update, 3:03 p.m.: drhorrible.com is all better, so go watch and frolic, and then come back here and post your reaction in the comments.

It seems that Dr. Horrible killed the Internet. (See, he is a superfiend!)

The launch of Act One of Joss Whedon & Co.'s new Internet show Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog this morning was so darn successful that it sort of brought down the official online launchpad drhorrible.com.

I reached out to Team Horrible about this, and here's the official word to you, the fans:

We love you for crashing the site, we really do. In the meantime, those of you who have iTunes capabilities can go there and get your fix. Our site should be up and running again in a few hours. Your support is warming our hearts and kicking our asses. So thank you thank you.

J, M, J, Z

[writers and exec producers Joss Whedon, Maurissa Tancharoen, Jed Whedon & Zack Whedon]

So head on over to iTunes for now, and we'll let you know ASAP when Captain Hammer kicks Horrible out of the server room so the rest of ya'll can get your singin' and dancin' on...

For those of you who've seen it, what did you think? Post in the comments!
