Apparently if you're Robert Pattinson, you can't have friends that are girls.
On Thursday's edition of Live From E!, Jason Kennedy, Ken Baker and Will Marfuggi discussed the legitimacy of the latest Hollywood hookup rumor between the Twilight star and Sia, an Australian indie rock singer and songwriter.
According to eyewitnesses, the actor and singer have hung out twice in the past three days: once attending the Jay Z and Justin Timberlake concert and once hitting L.A.'s Soho House for a night of drinks with friends.
So are the two an item?
No, according to a source who exclusively tells E! News that there's "definitely nothing romantic" going on between the two.
Fans aren't so sure, bashing the rumored romance via social media.
Also on today's show, a recap of the 2013 Do Something Awards. While it may not have the glitz and glamour of the Oscars, this great event recognizes celebrities who are socially active and involved in the community.
Attendees included host Sophia Bush, Carmen Electra and Jennifer Hudson. When asked for a reaction to Simon Cowell's baby news, the former American Idol contestant joked about the former judge's reputation for overly harsh criticism.
"Go easy, don't treat him like the American Idol kids. Be nice to him OK, Simon? Jeez!" the singer said directly to the camera (and Cowell!), but added "I'm sure he's going to be an amazing father."
The baby announcement brought a lot of drama, however, considering that the mother of the child, Lauren Silverman, is the estranged wife of Cowell's close friend and real estate executive Andrew Silverman. Andrew Silverman filed for divorce a two weeks ago, citing adultery and naming the X Factor judge as a co-respondent.
Finally on today's show, our panel talked Nick Cannon's new, upcoming show Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous. Even with his busy career and family life, Mariah Carey's husband posted an open letter on his website to Amanda Bynes, whom he dubbed his sister.
In his note, Cannon expressed his love and concern for his former Nickolodean costar and encouraged her to ask for help if needed.
