Ommm-M-G!

Oprah Winfrey made her second-ever visit to the Late Show on Thursday to promote her upcoming film The Butler. This marks the media mogul's first appearance on David Letterman's show since 2005.

The host joked with Oprah about her recent meditating and asked how long she'd been partaking in the activity.

"Well, actually, I brought meditation to my whole company just before I ended, like in 2010, because it makes for a better environment when everybody is focused and of one mind and doing well," she explained.

"And there's a great meditation challenge—do you meditate? I can tell you don't, never mind. I was just asking that, you know, I'm just being polite. I can tell you don't!"

Letterman also asked her if she has a mantra, to which she replied, "Yeah, I do…I wouldn't tell you."

"But this is what I think: Everybody needs to find something," she told the veteran TV star.

"You need to find something, and it doesn't matter what you call it, if it's just sitting and being still, if it's reflecting, if it's, you know, hugging your children, hugging your dogs, giving some time to that. It's all good," Oprah added.

Letterman quipped, "If it's vodka and pills, that's a good way to go."

After the laugh-filled interview was done, Oprah took to her Instagram to post a pic of the two together with a caption that read, "Reunited with Dave on the @LateShow tonight. So much FUN"

Oprah has been doing press for her film this week and even opened up to Parade magazine about people who use the N-word.

"You cannot be my friend and use that word around me," she said in the interview. "It shows my age, but I feel strongly about it…I always think of the millions of people who heard that as their last word as they were hanging from a tree."

And while she didn't exactly talk about celebrity chef Paula Deen directly, she sure made it clear what her stance on the scandal is.

Oprah has kept mum since the chef landed in hot water back in May after a videotaped deposition went public where she admitted to using the derogatory term.
