In her directorial debut, Spanish actress Penélope Cruz proves she knows how to make one hot—or should we say caliente!—film.
The Oscar-winning actress went behind the camera to direct a lengthy advertisement for the lingerie line that she helped design with sister Monica for Agent Provocateur, and we're pretty sure the risqué fall-winter campaign will get rave reviews from men the world over.
The supersexy ad sees Spanish actor Miguel Angel Silvestre slipping on a pair of L'Agent sunglasses that allow the oh-so-lucky leading man to see a houseful of partying models clad in skimpy underthings.
"The campaign film was very personal and important for me," Cruz says in a press release. "It was the first time that I directed and it was a very interesting experience. They gave me all the freedom and I was able to tell the story that I wanted to tell."
And what exactly happens in said story? Silvestre stares down leggy ladies dressed in thongs and push-ups as they lick frosting off of each others' fingers, hang from rings on the wall like gymnasts and kick off an orgy.
You know, just a typical house party!
The film also stars Sports Illustrated model Irina Shayk, who makes Silvestre feel right at home by giving him an eye-popping lap dance.
"For my film, I used women of all shapes and ages as it was important for me to let women know that this brand is for everyone," Cruz explained. "I chose Irina as she is such a vivacious woman and with all the beautiful women in the campaign I really needed someone who would keep the audience's attention."
We're pretty sure Cruz accomplished that mission with Shayk and the dozen other picture-perfect women, but what of those differently sized gals she speaks of?
You may have noticed that her very pregnant sister and codesigner, Monica, makes a cameo in a flirty pink negligee.
And the first-time director also made sure to include her hubby, Javier Bardem, who makes a surprise appearance towards the end!
