Looks like 2014 just got a lot more attractive!
Campari, the classic Italian alcoholic spirit company, has just announced Uma Thurman as the star of its 2014 calendar—and the leading lady definitely doesn't disappoint in her latest role.
Called Worldwide Celebrations, the calendar will feature an oh-so-elegantly dressed Thurman depicting a variety of festivals from different cultures.
Talk about global chic!
Indeed, the blond bombshell looks absolutely ravishing in a couple of red gowns in the just released behind-the-scenes shots of the upcoming calendar.
We're guessing a shot of Thurman lounging amongst a rainbow array of eye-catching skulls is a nod at Day of the Dead, but the stunning actress steals much of the attention away from the colorful props.
"To be a part of such a globally-renowned project for an iconic worldwide brand like Campari is a true pleasure," Thurman said in a release about her role as Campari's new calendar girl. "I particularly admire the Campari Calendar theme this year as I am able to share a worldwide journey of discovery, passion and style with Campari lovers around the globe."
And as if the impressive list of calendar participants wasn't enough, Thurman's shoot was captured by fashion photographer Koto Bolofo, who has worked for the likes of Vogue and Vanity Fair, and even lensed campaigns for iconic design houses like Dior and Louis Vuitton.
"Each month, the true essence of a 'global celebration' has been captured beautifully thanks to Koto Bolofo, a highly-acclaimed photographer with a keen eye for creating intriguing, stimulating and truly dynamic imagery," gushed Thurman about the photographer.
And though we get a peek at shots of Thurman looking ultra-sultry in a crisp white halter dress and mesmerizing in striking black-and-white shots, we have some time to go before we see the rest of Bolofo's handy work!
