Katy Perry is such a tease.

Just yesterday, she released the name of her upcoming new album and its release on the side of big rig covered in gold—Prism is set to drop on Oct. 13.

The "Firework" singer was coy when we asked what her new music will sound like at this weekend's The Smurfs 2 premiere in L.A.

"It's gonna be three years later, how about that?" Perry cracked. "Pick up where we left off."

There was one thing Perry actually was very clear about—whether her boyfriend John Mayer will be on the new album.

"He is not, actually," she said. "But thank you for asking."

Perry did play an unidentified new song for a writer interviewing her for Vogue magazine back in April that she apparently wrote about Mayer. No word if it will be included on Prism.

Don't be surprised if Perry tweets out more details as we get closer to the release date. "Find the #PRISM semi, take a picture and I'll RT you," she tweeted yesterday. "Don't worry, Los Angeles is just the first stop on the map."

Just a few days ago, Perry surpassed Lady Gaga as the most followed female on Twitter with 39.8 million followers.

"I just do fart jokes and things and sometimes I do important stuff and sometimes I just like to share what I'm up to and other times, I'm just retweeting strange stuff," Perry said at The Smurfs 2 premiere. "I'm really proud, thank you for following me. I appreciate it."

She then added with a smile, "I'll try not to let you down with all my different variations of the word 'there.'"
