Oh, to be a fly on the wall of some of your favorite television shows. Well, the Sundance Channel is giving fans the opportunity to be that fly, without the gross multiple-eye thing.

In this exclusive first look at Sundance's new series The Writers' Room, Breaking Bad star and producer Bryan Cranston talks to the host, Oscar-winner Jim Rash (Community), about his unforgettable experience reading the pilot episode for the first time.

"As an actor, you start to imagine yourself in that role and it seeps into you," he says about wanting the role of Walter White.

The Writers' Room, presented in part by Entertainment Weekly, will also shine a much-appreciated spotlight on the minds behind the best shows on TV right now. Along with Breaking Bad, Dexter, Parks and Recreation, American Horror Story, Game of Thrones, and New Girl are set to be featured during the in-depth round table series.

The Writers' Room's first episode, which will celebrate Breaking Bad's producers and writers, airs tonight on Sundance at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
