Christina Applegate's show Up All Night may have been canceled, but the blonde beauty has a new starring role.
The 41-year-old is the face of Fruitwater, the flavored sparkling water from Coca-Cola and Glacéau. In addition to appearing in radio ads for the fizzy product, Applegate posed for its print campaign—and we have a sneak peek at the results.
Clad in a figure-hugging white dress cinched with an eye-popping pink skinny belt, the actress playfully takes a sip from the zero-calorie beverage.
We're guessing she appreciates the easy-on-the-figure drink, since she admits her workout routine has suffered a bit since she had daughter Sadie back in 2011.
"Before I had my daughter, I would go to spin class for an hour, and then train for an hour, and then run for, you know, six miles and go to dance class and do all these things and now, really, I have one hour in the day where I can really take that time for myself while she's taking a nap," she explained on the set of her Fruitwater shoot.
And if she's not exercising during those rare moments when she's not working or looking after Sadie, she's not interested in hitting a glamorous event or Hollywood hot spots.
"All I want to do is lay in my bed and watch my Tivo'd shows that I have," she said, when asked about how else she likes to spend her downtime.
Applegate realizes that she's not alone in trying to find a balance between work and motherhood. Her advice? Try to take things one day at a time.
"Just try to be in the moment," she said. "I think that's where we get really unfocused—is when we're not present with it all. Don't think like, ‘Oh my God, how am I gonna do this? How am I gonna do this?' You will accomplish it, but you kind of have to take it one step at a time."
