You're at work, doing whatever you do at work...
...when you stumble upon this gem of info: Today, July 24, is National Tequila Day.
The only problem?
Brace yourself, because you have at least a few more hours of thinking:
(It's really not that hard, people.)
But when 5 o'clock rolls around, it's time to get patriotic.
Stage 1: Let the Drinking Begin
Today is a national holiday. You're basically required by law to celebrate.
And there's only one way to celebrate tequila...
The first shot will be rough, but have faith.
It will get easier.
And anyway,
Stage 2: One Tequila, Two Tequila
You're starting to feel drunk outgoing.
You're not slurring, you're speaking in cursive.
Note: This is a good time to get your selfie on.
Because things are only going downhill from here.
Stage 3: It's All Downhill From Here
Here's a question you never have to ask:
Because the answer is always, "Yes." Yes, there is and always will be more alcohol.
This is also the perfect opportunity to turn on some music. You're feeling good. Your inhibitions are gone. You could probably twerk right now!
You definitely think you could probably twerk right now!
Question: Does anyone else hate that old adage, "You shouldn't drink to get drunk"? OK, well, we're not drinking tequila because we like the taste. We're drinking tequila because it makes us better dancers.
Stage 4: You're In It to Win Lose It
Someone probably offered you an AMF by this point in the night. Hey, there's tequila in it.
Yeah, and there's also vodka, rum and gin too. But why should you listen to us, right?
It's National Tequila Day 2014.
So what if you get a little sloppy?
Stage 5: When This Inevitably Happens
Now, welcome to The Day After National Tequila Day 2014.
Stage 6: The Hangover:
At best you can say,
At worst,
Oh, and P.S. You have to work today.
Whose idea was it to have National Tequila Day on a Thursday?!
