The Royal Baby Is Here! 5 TV Births We Couldn't Wait to Watch

Jenna Fischer, John Krasinski, The Office Justin Lubin/NBC

In case you've been living under a large rock we have some news for you: The royal baby was born! Cue the parade and endless baby puns!

This news has been a highly anticipated event, so while we were waiting to find out if a future king or queen would be ushered into the world (spoiler alert: it's a boy!), we of course started reminiscing about our favorite onscreen baby births.

From an island at sea to the middle of a singing competition, we've put together a list of the five most phenomenal TV babies and their unique journeys into our most beloved shows. Read on to see all of the bundles of joy below:

NEWS: Kate Middleton gives birth to the royal baby!

1. CeCe Halpert, The Office

Date of Birth: March 4, 2010, "The Delivery"

It's a Girl! This baby birth had it all: comedy, heart and Ultra Feast! Aiming to wait until midnight so she could take full advantage of her health-insured stay in the hospital, Pam (Jenna Fisher) tried her best to delay her labor for as long as possible. Unfortunately, her delicious meals with Kevin (Brian Baumgartner) were not enough to stop her contractions, and after a super sweet Jim (John Krasinski) pep-talk and 19 long hours of labor, CeCe Halpert made her Dunder Mifflin family debut. (side note: Remember when Pam breastfed the wrong baby? Classic!)

Nicky and Alex Kastopolis, Full House

Date of Birth: Nov. 12, 1991, "Happy Birthday Babies"

It's Twins! Oh yes, we're looking way back into TV's past for this doubly wonderful birth! Becky (Lori Loughlin), aka the world's coolest aunt, went into labor at the same time that Uncle Jesse (John Stamos) was struck with a case of appendicitis. Of course, leave it to Full House to take something as painful as childbirth and turn it into a heartwarmingly hilarious episode. We're just glad that these little boys grew up to have their TV father's amazing hair genes.

Aaron Littleton, Lost

Date of Birth: April 6, 2005, "Do No Harm"

It's a Boy! This is probably the most realistic birth we've ever seen on TV. Everything about little Aaron's life on the island was definitely mysterious, but his birth was as straightforward as it can get. With Dr. Jack (Matthew Fox) busy trying to save the life of another island-inhabitant, Kate (Evangeline Lily) successfully coached Claire (Emilie De Ravin) through her intensely dramatic labor pains.

Emma Gellar-Green, Friends

Date of Birth: May 16, 2002, "The One Where Rachel Has a Baby"

It's a Girl! If you don't think that this is one of the greatest TV births of all time, then you should know something: You're wrong. We all know that Ross (David Schwimmer) and Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) were always meant to be, so the fact that they had a baby together was just icing on the cake. Arriving several days late, Emma caused quite a bit of trouble when a stressed-out Rachel thought that Joey was proposing to her in the hospital room. Despite the miscommunication, Emma brought Ross and Rachel closer together over the final seasons and in the end she got off the plane and they lived happily ever after.

Beth Cocoran, Glee

Date of Birth: June 8, 2010, "Journey"

It's a Girl! Beth is a very unique TV baby. The daughter of high-schoolers Quinn Fabrey (Dianna Agron) and Noah Puckerman (Mark Salling), Beth caused quite the controversy in the William McKinley halls on first season of Glee. The baby's birth, paired with incredible rendition of Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody," stole the spotlight in the middle of the New Directions first trip to regionals. And of course who could forget Quinn's painfully hilarious chants of "You suck! You suck! You suuuuck!" during labor.  Beth was later adopted by the lovely Shelby Cocoran (Idina Menzel), and is living a happy, music-filled life.
