Jamie Foxx admitted to E! News that he wasn't invited to longtime pal Kerry Washington's secret wedding last month, and for good reason.

"No I didn't get an invitation. It's good that she didn't because I would've blurted it out," he said of his Django Unchained costar while promoting his upcoming flick The Amazing Spider-Man 2 at Comic-Con over the weekend.

"I think she did the right thing," he added. "She kept it quiet."

The Scandal star wed NFL star Nnamdi Asomugha on June 24 in Hailey, Idaho in front of a small group of family and friends.

Washington's parents, Earl and Valerie, signed the certificate as witnesses, and the groom's sister, Chisaraokwu Asomugha—a minister in Silver Spring, Md.—officiated the intimate ceremony.

The actor was distracted mid-sentence by his adorable four-year-old daughter in the middle of the red carpet interview and instantly picked her up for a hug.

Foxx introduced the adorable tot (who was wearing a Spider-man backpack, of course!) by saying, "What's your name?" to which she replied, "Annalise."

"What's your full name," he clarified. "Annalisse Estelle Foxx," she said dutifully.

The proud papa showed off his daughter by asking her to spell the word "Spider-man," which she did with great ease.

When E! News asked Foxx's daughter who she loved more between Spider-man and Electro, she instantly confessed that she favored Spider-man.

"She better," Foxx quipped upon learning that his little girl loved the film's hero over the villain.

Annalise also admitted that she was proud of her famous father and planted a big smooch on his face at the end of the interview.

Too cute for words!
