Happy birthday, Selena Gomez!
The "Come & Get It" singer, who may be sharing her birthday with the royal baby, turns a milestone 21 years old today! Gomez began celebrating her big day by posting a special message and video on YouTube earlier this morning.
"I wanted to celebrate my 21st Birthday with all of you, so we made this video for us all to celebrate to," she shared. "Thank You for all the love and support you have shown and continue to show me. I love you all so much!!"
In the birthday vid, Gomez dances around with her pals as her song "Birthday" plays. A smiley Gomez, dressed in a black crop top and shorts with a flannel shirt around her waist, sings along to her song while bumping and grinding with friends in a dark room. At the end of the video, her pals sing her "Happy "Birthday."
"Thanks to all my amazing friends," she continued in her bday message to fans. "Thanks to Ben for another great video. Thanks to Justin and crew @ Flaming Flower Production for everything. Thanks to all my fans for being so amazing and making me want to make this video for you."
"Tell ‘em that it's my birthday," Gomez sings in the song. "Tell ‘em that's it's my birthday when I party like that. Every day is my birthday. They don't know so it's OK. Tell ‘em that's it's my birthday when I party like that."
"Guess what... I'm 21. UM, #turnupNOW," Gomez posted on Instagram along with a photo of her and over a dozen friends partying in birthday party hats. She posted another pics of fast foods snacks with the caption, "My cake was... Jack n the box tacos... Yes."
Gomez's pal and Spring Breakers costar Ashley Benson was there to help Gomez ring in her 21st birthday. She posted a pic from last night's celebration with the caption, "Happy 21st baby!!!! @selenagomez."
Gomez's BFF Taylor Swift also tweeted out a celebratory message to the 21-year-old. "Happy 21st birthday to my friend, and the closest thing I've ever had to a sister, @selenagomez!!" Swift shared along with a pic of the twosome posing as mermaids at the beach.
