Nelson Mandela received quite the birthday present.
On the ailing leader's 95th birthday, the Weinstein Co. released the first trailer for the upcoming biopic of the South African president and movement hero, Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom.
Starring Idris Elba (The Wire, Luther) as Mandela, the Justin Chadwick-directed flick focuses on Mandela's momentous life, leading the struggle against South Africa's racist apartheid system.
Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom hits theaters November 29.
