After enduring way too many zombie-free months, we finally know the premiere date of The Walking Dead's eagerly anticipated fourth season. AMC announced Friday at Comic-Con that the hit drama will return Sunday, Oct. 13 at 9 p.m.. The 16-episode season will once again be split up in two with the second batch of action-packed episode premiering in February 2014.

But we know that you don't want to have to wait three whole months for your favorite butt-kicking characters to return so we've got even more exciting news to share...

In addition to announcing the premiere date, AMC also released the first glimpse at The Walking Dead's newest season, and we've got to be honest, these four minutes and 27 seconds are pure, adrenaline-pumping fun.
