Getty ImagesSnooki and Jionni LaValle may be engaged, but despite what you may have read, when exactly they'll be making their way to the altar is still up in the air.
After speculation surfaced that the two are looking to tie the knot at the beginning of next year, the former Jersey Shore star hopped on Twitter to shoot down the rumors.
"I'm not getting married in January," she tweeted on Wednesday. "Some rat is selling false stories about us...when We have a date, trust me you'll know."
When contacted by E! News, Snooki's rep also insisted that no date has been set yet.
But the new mom did tell us last month that she and Jionni are thinking about getting hitched sometime in 2014.
"Right now we probably want to get married next year sometime," Snooki said at the time. "We're actually starting to talk about it now. We don't really have any plans yet, but we're starting to talk about it. So that's a first."
Jionni popped the question in March 2012 and the couple welcomed their son, Lorenzo, five months later.
And now that she's been a mom for nearly a year, who better to pen an open letter to mother-to-be Kate Middleton on what to expect after the royal baby arrives, right?
"In the beginning, right when you take your royal golden nugget home to the castle is the most exciting experience of your life," Snooki recently wrote. "I couldn't wait to wake up in the middle of the night to take care of my little prince Lorenzo."
She added, "But that lasts for about a few days. Then it's like, 'I love you but OMG stop crying! I'm exhausted.' The lack of sleep you will get used to—just do your makeup, put a tiara on, and you'll look beautiful as usual."
