Fresh off of booking back-to-back spokesmodeling gigs (for Versace and St. Tropez), Kate Moss has landed Allure's cover.

Inside the August 2013 issue the model is feisty and fabulous as ever when speaking about her three decades in the fashion industry.

"Everyone's a celebrity. But I'm kind of a celebrity now, so even though I'm not an actress, people know my name. I'm not just a face."

Indeed, the 39-year-old has not only covered fashion magazines but tabloids as well, which she says was "horrible, especially the anorexic thing." Adding, "The heroin, I was like, ‘Oh, its just ridiculous I don't do heroin. Just because I wear a bit of black eyeliner that's smudged…' But the anorexic thing was a lot more upsetting, to be held responsible for somebody's illness. I wasn't anorexic."

Moss' love life was also a major point of interest, especially her relationship with Johnny Depp. Though now over a decade after their split she is choosing to stay mum on their love: "Never complain, never explain."

Although she was completely golden from head-to-toe for her campaign with St. Tropez tanner, she says she's OK with tan lines. "I don't mind a bikini bottom. My husband likes lines on the bum—men like white bums…I try not to have a whiteboob."

As for the rest of her beauty routine she shares her blond strands come first. "Always clean hair. That's a must. If in doubt, wash it."

The supermodels also talks about her fashion no-nos: "I wouldn't wear sweatpants. I wouldn't wear a twinset."

Not surprisingly her career in the fashion industry spills into her home life as well—sometimes in the most unexpected ways. The model says her daughter Lila Grace, 10, likes to reenact one iconic fashion film in particular:

"She's watched The Devil Wears Prada 10 times, and shes got a desk in her room with a phone…She puts a little outfit on and picks up the phone: 'Hello, Miranda Priestly's office.' I say, 'Lila, do you know who Miranda Priestly is in real life?' But she just doesn't care. She's like, 'Hello, Miranda Priestly's office. Can you hold? Patrick Demarchelier on the line!' I died when I heard her do it. So funny. She doesn't have a clue who she is, but it's word for word."
