Are Miley Cyrus' parents calling off their divorce?
Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus were seen holding hands yesterday during a romantic stroll along the Malibu Beach Pier.
The two appeared carefree as they enjoyed the ocean views and snapped photos of the coastline and one another. They later shared an intimate meal with two other couples at Nikita Malibu, E! News can confirm.
"They were laughing all night," a source said. "You would never have known they were going through a divorce."
The seemingly on-again couple, who were both casually dressed, carried large coffee table books that they picked up during their afternoon outing. They also had a brief, yet close, encounter with a giant pelican. Tish seemed more apprehensive about the bird than Billy Ray as he attempted to pet the bird.
Before heading back to their car, Tish sat on a coastal rock and took in the beautiful sights while Billy Ray stood behind her.
And considering that the "Achy Breaky Heart" singer filed for divorce from the blond beauty just last month, the two appeared tension-free, to say the least.
But this isn't the first time that they've been spotted since announcing their split.
In late June, they were spotted leaving Little Tony's restaurant in North Hollywood with their youngest daughter, 13-year-old Noah, in tow.
Tish wrapped her arms around the country crooner and even rested her head on his shoulder as they exited the eatery.
Billy Ray pulled the plug on their 19-year-marriage for the second time when he filed divorce papers in Nasvhille, Tenn., while Tish filed her own petition in Los Angeles.
Both parties cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their split. The two originally filed for divorce in 2010 and cited the same reasons then.
E! News has learned that there is no change in Tish's petition for divorce currently, despite the two seeming to be on good terms.
After news of their divorce broke, Noah took to Twitter to ask followers to "Please pray for me and my family. Xxo."
"Thank you everyone off of Twitter AND instagram for your prayers it means a lot to my family and me," she added the next day.
Miley also recently opened up about her parents' split, saying she's "fine" but "much more concerned" for her younger sister.
Perhaps a split won't be in the Cyrus' future after all.
