Some bands will sell you T-shirts and concert posters. Others shill merch like CDs and stickers. And some European electronica duos plaster their name on their very own custom condoms.

Please wait until after the concert to proudly don the latter.

Following the success of "Get Lucky," the first single off Random Access Memories (and the hit that help the album spend two weeks at No. 1), Daft Punk has teamed with Durex for a line of condoms showcasing their logo alongside a photo of the French twosome with Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers.

The endorsement hardly comes out of left field, considering the lyrics to the song: "She's up all night 'til the sun / I'm up all night to get some," Pharrell croons. "She's up all night for good fun / I'm up all night to get lucky!"

No release date has been set for the condoms, but Durex apparently sent samples out to high profile DJs. Diplo posted a picture of the (empty) box on his Instagram, writing, "Thank god I had those daft punk condoms last night" Sony Music Belgium has also received a shipment.

In other Daft Punk news, Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalteris (the musicians behind the robot helmets) will also become action figures. Warning: If you're most excited by this announcement, you may not even need the condoms at all!

And in other, other Daft Punk news, if you haven't listened to "Evolution of Get Lucky" by PV Nova, do so immediately. The brilliant remix transports the song to every decade from 1920s to the 2020s.

UPDATE: "We are aware of reports that Durex has launched Daft Punk branded condoms following their hit single 'Get Lucky,' " a Durex rep reportedly told MTV News. "There is no Durex promotion or partnership with Daft Punk in the U.S. or any other markets and Durex is not posting free packs to the world's top DJs as suggested. However, we do hope that by using Durex condoms, music-lovers will continue to make sweet music together and have great sex!"
