As the stars of J. Estina’s new fall 2013 campaign, the siblings prove they’ve come a long way from their start as child stars—and that two is definitely better than one.
Looking oh-so-sophisticated in pearls from the handbag and jewelry brand, the darling duo pose alongside one another, with Elle in a chic white suit and Dakota in a sharp square-neck dress. Elle cuddles up to older sis Dakota, who looks more like her twin, given the fact that the two have the same shade of mesmerizing baby blue eyes and ethereal blond hair.
The gorgeous gals also strike a few fierce solo poses as they show off J.Estina's handbags like a couple of professionals models.
Of course, it should come as no surprise that the photogenic twosome know how to work their best angles. In addition to starring in J.Estina's fall campaign, the Fanning sisters were the face of the brand's Spring 2013 ads, and each has struck a pose for Marc Jacobs in the past.
Dakota's campaign for Jacobs' Oh, Lola perfume caused quite the controversy in the U.K, where it was banned by the Advertising Standards Authority for being too "sexually provocative."
"If you want to read something into a perfume bottle, then I guess you can. But it's also like, ‘Why are you making it about that, you creep?" Dakota told Glamour magazine about the fragrance ad, which showed her holding the Oh, Lola perfume bottle between her thighs.
Although she was 17 at the time of the shoot, the ASA had issue with their claim that the star looked much younger than her actual age in the campaign.
Elle was much younger than sister Dakota when she shot her campaign for Jacobs' fall collection. At the tender age of 13, the actress suited up in the designer's coats and dresses for a fashionable spread.
Elle and Dakota's J. Estina ads, which were shot in Los Angeles, will run in fashion magazines this month.
