So when we had the chance to go behind the scenes with her on set of her recent fragrance photo shoot for Calvin Klein's Downtown scent, we absolutely hopped on the opportunity!
As the new spokesmodel for the designer perfume, Mara effortlessly exudes a subtly sexy allure that's perfectly fitting for the city chic campaign.
And while the fragrance won't hit shelves until September, we're confident that Mara's loyal following will be lining up for a bottle of their own in no time. Until then, we've got a sneak peek of the cool campaign coming soon!
In this exclusive video, we caught a glimpse of the making of the upcoming commercial, shot in black and white by none other than The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo director David Fincher.
Needless to say, it's cinematic magic once again! Fincher and Mara are a match made in heaven and we're absolutely loving the look of this shoot.
The classically glamorous footage captures Mara in her ideal element and gives off a flirty-meets-dangerous vibe that's seriously enchanting. We can't wait to see the finished product!
In between takes, we sat down with the star to find out more about her fashion and beauty secrets and learned a little bit more about her personal style.
"The Calvin Klein collection is really quite similar to how I dress in my personal life," she told us. "It's very minimal and clean and comfortable, but very modern and chic at the same time."
As for her beauty secrets, the actress admits that less is more. "For me, natural beauty is something I've always been drawn to. I still don't really wear makeup in my everyday life and I would be horrible at even trying to do it to myself!"
Aw, adorable!
And when asked what her best beauty secret is, she paused before explaining an important (but often overlooked) product that she never leaves home without. "This is going to sound so simple, but sunscreen! I always wear sunscreen. I also find that what you eat is the best beauty secret. It sort of starts from the inside out."
