George Clooney and Stacy Keibler have split, but they'll always have memories of their time together—all around the world.

During the couple's two years of dating, Clooney, 52, and Keibler, 33, were quite the jet-setting pair, enjoying one another's company in lavish vacation spots from Torcello Island on the Venetian Lagoon to Cabo San Lucas and everywhere in between.

The pair also spent a good amount of time at Clooney's Lake Como villa.

"I love the way life is spent in Italy," the actor told Parade in 2011. "It's really nice to sit down and have a two-hour lunch, which the Italians do. I realized that I had spent probably 15, 20 years standing up and shoveling food down my throat. It's not about wealth; it's about taking time and actually enjoying things."

"All of my friends think of this as their home. They come even when I'm not here," he said of the lavish 13-bedroom residence. "There's nothing that makes me prouder than this group of friends I've managed to stay very close to for a long, long time."

"I bought it as an investment," he explained. "I never liked the stock market—to me it's Vegas without any of the fun parts, the girls in bikinis. I like owning dirt. You know, I spent a lot of time broke when I moved to California. So deep in my soul is still this idea of being unemployed. To me, owning land means you could sell it at some point and have money."

Obviously, trips to paradise call for a lot of time in a swimsuit, so Clooney and Keibler always maintained their beach bodies—independently. Keibler told Fitness magazine in 2012, "Fitness has been very important to both of us for such a long time now that we both have our own routines that we like to stick to. I work with a trainer a lot, too, so we tend to do our own thing."

Fair enough. And fortunately, a source tells E! News the pair's breakup was totally amicable. Reportedly, Keibler came to the realization that their busy schedules placed too much of a strain on the relationship.

But they'll always have Lake Como!
