Three Nashville stars aren't singing the blues right now.

ABC's breakout hit has promoted three actors to series regulars for its upcoming second season, E! News has confirmed. Chris Carmack and sisters Lennon and Maisy Stella will be joining Connie Britton, Hayden Panettiere & Co. on a permanent basis come this September.

Carmack and the Stellas' promotions come just after music supervisor T Bone Burnett announced he would not be returning to work on season two of the show his wife, Callie Khouri, created.

Carmack, who is known for his work as Luke on The O.C., became a scene-stealing surprise in season one as Gunnar (Sam Palladio) and Scarlett's (Clare Bowen) closeted roommate, Will, who eventually made a pass at Gunnar.

Lennon and Maisy Stella play Rayna (Britton) and Teddy's (Eric Close) musically inclined daughters, Maddie and Daphne; in the season one finale, Maddie learned that Rayna's longtime love Deacon (Charles Esten) is her biological father. Many of the girls' covers, including their version of the Lumineers' "Ho Hey," have been among the series' best-selling songs on iTunes.

The Hollywood Reporter first reported the news of Carmack and the Stella sisters' promotions.

Nashville returns this fall on ABC.
