Sunday's 2013 BET Music Awards were quite the event, and the stars all brought their A-game to the red carpet!
Monochromatic black-and-white looks were definitely on trend. Ciara wowed in an all-black ensemble consisting of a fitted leather pencil skirt and bra-like, midriff-baring top. (Safe to say someone's sure reaping the rewards of working out!)
Paula Patton looked lovely in a semi-sheer all-white dress, while hubby Robin Thicke kept it classy in black slacks, a white button-down and black blazer.
The show's host, Chris Tucker, looked effortlessly cool in a white suit, as did Bobby Brown. Bobby's date, wife Alicia Etheridge, kinda kept with the evening's monochromatic theme as she sparkled in a chic golden gown.
Brandi and Ashanti both showed off their svelte figures in cream dresses, as did Sevyn Streeter, who posed alongside label mate Chris Brown for pics. Breezy was a little more casual than some of his contemporaries in sneakers, jeans, a white shirt, black jacket and L.A. Dodgers cap.
Jamie Foxx wore white jeans and a white T-shirt with a graphic of Trayvon Martin in his now-iconic hoodie. (George Zimmerman, who fatally shot Trayvon in February 2012, is currently on trial for killing the Florida teen.)
But not everyone stuck with this black-and-white trend. Gabrielle Union heated things up in a strapless red gown, while boyfriend Dwayne Wade looked handsome yet understated in a gray suit.
Jordin Sparks added a pop of color to the red carpet as well, lighting up the night with an orange, white and blue Clover Canyon dress that showcased her fit figure. And new mama Amber Rose brought some sunshine to the night in a sleeveless yellow-and-black dress.
