Extra host enjoys a day at the beach with his family in Cancun

Mario Lopez may be winning the summer abs competition.

The Extra host displayed his rock-hard torso while vacationing with his family in Cancun at Villa del Palmar.

Aside from making men everywhere envious of his physique, the 39-year-old's been enjoying some well deserved R and R on the beach and at the spa with pregnant wife Courtney Mazza and daughter Gia.

The couple also hit up the resort restaurants like Hiroshi, Zama and LaCasona STK. But the highlight of the trip? Swimming with whale sharks!

 "They've had the time of their lives!," a source tells E! of their swim with the undersea giants.

The host is just one of the many celebs who have visited the Villa del Palmar. Fellow resort goers include Kevin McHale, Vanessa Lengies, Regina King and Lisa Rinna.
