Has Kate Middleton been planning out a playlist while she goes into labor?

According to reports, the Duchess of Cambridge has been going "going a bit stir-crazy" since she's been in her third trimester and decided to choose some tunes for when she is ready to give birth.

But not just any music will calm the expectant mother's nerves. She's looking at chart-topping pop hits to serenade the delivery room rather than calming classic tunes.

"She has been filling her iPod with music she wants playing while she's in labor," a source claims. "The other day she downloaded some of Bruno Mars, Calvin Harris and Of Monsters and Men."

Middleton is no stranger to loving some of the music industry's most famous names.

At her 2011 wedding, the royal couple had Ellie Goulding perform at the reception following their highly watched nuptials.

If the reports are accurate, the newest royal is set to be welcomed into the world with heaps of good music.

In fact, classical artist Paul Mealor has written a song specifically for the heir.

The track, sweetly titled "Sleep On," is a lullaby that was created by the world famous composer.

Hayley Westenra will record the song and will be releasing the track just in time for the newborn's arrival.

"After writing music for the royal wedding, it seemed natural to provide the musical accompaniment for the next stage in the royal couple's journey together, Mealor said in a statement.

Westenra commented on the exciting opportunity, saying, "Paul and I got to work together on a song called ‘Sleep On' in honor of William and Kate's new arrival as it's such a joyous occasion which we can all celebrate."

With all of the good music the royal family now has to choose from, it looks like both mother and child won't be in need of new music any time in the near future!
