Shine bright like a diamond.

Today's round of voting in our 2013 Golden Remote Awards is all about the stars who lived out the lyrics to the Rihanna hit and truly shined in the 2012-13 TV season. It was a particularly talented crop of actors this year that became breakout stars, some after years of guest appearances and some seemingly out of nowhere.

Oprhan Black's Tatiana Maslany arguable deserves six nominations for her stunning work as multiple characters, while Arrow's Stephen Amell salmon-laddered his way to fame and Natalie Dormer schemed with the best of them on Game of Thrones. Two Scandal stars truly shined in season two, and two new faces from Fox's serial-killer drama The Following made a lasting impression on viewers...

Last year's winners both hailed from the same show, Glee's Vanessa Lengies and Grant Gustin, and two of the Fox hit's season-four newbies are competing for the title in 2013: Jacob Artist as Puck's younger bro Jake, who became one of New Directions' new male leads, and Melissa Benoist as Marley, the club's new female lead and Jake's sweet girlfriend.

Of course, the final decision for TV's male and female breakout star is ultimately yours! But remember, with great power comes great responsibility!
