If your definition of a good movie is one with an superb cast, then you're in for a treat.

Hot off the box office success that is World War Z,  which saw him play a man out to save the world from a zombie swarm, the A-lister looks to be taking a more villainous turn in the upcoming Ridley Scott thriller The Counselor, the teaser for which just hit the web.

He's not the only Hollywood star exploring his dark side in this tale about a lawyer who gets mixed up in the drug trade from an original screenplay by No Country for Old Men author Cormac McCarthy

The film noir costars Michael Fassbender and Cameron Diaz. Along for the ride are Penélope Cruz and No Country alum Javier Bardem, reunited for the first time on the big-screen since 2008's Vicky Cristina Barcelona.

"If your definition of a friend is someone who will die for you, you don't have any friends," says Pitt in the trailer.

No doubt everyone is looking out for themselves. The Counselor hits theaters on Oct. 25, 2013.
