"@ddlovato WE CAN'T STOP THE WORLD, but we can find friends we DON'T FORGET," Jonas posted on Twitter recently. "So blessed our TWO DIFFERENT WORLDS collided. Stay strong."
Jonas' tweet comes after the X Factor judge's dad Patrick Lovato passed away after reportedly battling cancer for the past few years.
Lovato also took to Twitter today to share a message of strength, The Serenity Prayer.
"God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference," she shared.
Lovato reportedly hadn't spoken to her father since 2007. "I feel so humbled to have had so much support from my fans, friends, family and complete strangers," she tweeted earlier today. "God bless you all, thank you so much"
