Normally, celebrities credit top facialists for their seemingly flawless skin.

But Emma Stone? She credits her complexion perfection to baking soda.

Not some fancy version of the cooking ingredient either. The regular $1 kind (à la Arm & Hammer) you can find in the aisles of your local supermarket.

The Amazing Spider-Man star told French Elle magazine she uses it as a exfoliant. She also shares another cheap beauty secret: "I'm a fan of coconut hair masks."

Clearly, her DIY beauty routine is working. The 24-year-old's glowing skin—which still looks gorgeous when she is makeup-free—landed her a major contract with Revlon.

And oh yeah, her shiny golden locks aren't too shabby, either.
