Robert Downey Jr. fans, rejoice!

The 48-year-old actor will reprise his famous role as Tony Stark/Iron Man in the wildly popular Avengers franchise.

Marvel announced today the actor signed a two-picture agreement and will step back into his suit for both the Avengers 2 and Avengers 3.

The annoucement is great news for both fans and writer/director Joss Whedon, who previously said he had "no intention" of making Avengers 2 without RDJ.

Production on the highly-anticipated sequel is set to begin in March 2014, with a release date of May 1, 2015. Downey Jr.'s last two Marvel films, The Avengers and Iron Man 3, have collectively earned over $2.7 billion worldwide to date.

But that's not all the amazing RDJ news today!

Remember BBC 1 radio host Chris Stark who had the best interview ever with Mila Kunis (of course you do!)?

Well, he interviewed Robert Downey Jr., and no surprise, it's awesome.

Watch the clip to see the good-looking star and Stark chat about being naked under the Iron Man suit, picking up girls and how "amazing" it is to be RDJ.

Are you excited to hear RDJ will return as Iron Man on the big screen? Tell us in the comments!
