Adriana Lima is arguably one of the hottest models on the planet, fronting for major fashion brands like Victoria's Secret, Donna Karan and Miu Miu, just to name a few.
And now that summer is in full swing, we're looking towards this Brazilian bombshell now more than ever to inspire us with her fashion and beauty expertise.
Whether she's dressed to the nines in a fancy formal gown on the red carpet, or sizzling in a sexy bikini on the sand for a catalog shoot, Lima sure knows how to make the most her assets.
We sat down with her to uncover her current obsessions. Here's what we learned:
You have such incredible style! Tell us about your favorite item in your closet?
I like anything that makes me feel comfortable. That's the key for me. It's so sunny in Miami. That's where my home is, so I'm usually in a bikini or a little dress, shorts, T-shirts. Very relaxed.
Do you have any favorite brands or designers?
I just like what makes me feel comfortable. For lingerie and bikinis, of course I go for Victoria's Secret.
Speaking of bikinis, you always look amazing in swimwear. What's your favorite style of bikini?
I like triangle tops and it has to be small. It has to be tight on the side and very little.
So the smaller, the better?
Yes. It's because I don't like to have many tan lines, so yes. In Brazil, we always wear small bikinis!
Can you share any of your best beauty secrets?
Of course for me, it's important to work out. I believe that sweating helps your skin look better. Also, I always carry spray water for my face in my bag and mascara. I always want to keep my lips moist, too.
Do you have any favorite products in your makeup bag?
The Victoria's Secret mascara and NARS lipstick are some of my favorites. Since I travel a lot, it's important to moisturize your skin and I use Rodin Olio face oil.
What's your favorite meal or snack?
I love food! I really do. Pasta. If I could, I would eat pasta every day. I love it. I also love to snack on pita chips and drink 100 percent raw coconut water. I get it from Whole Foods.
What are you playing on your iPod right now?
This morning I was listening to a song called "Pink Martini." The musician is from Poland. She sings in different languages. It's very glamorous. It's old-school music around the ‘50s and ‘60s. It's kind of Hollywood. That's what it feels like to me. It's very girly. It's very mellow. Something that you can listen to in the summer.
Sounds good. And finally, what are your fitness secrets? You are one hot mama!
My children definitely keep me fit. I'm busy all day...moving around. I try to work out as much as I can. Even if it's for 10 minutes. If you can squeeze in a walk, squats or jump rope, it's better than nothing! And sometimes I make time for classes.
