The trailer for Anchorman 2:The Legend Continues is in the wild, and by the looks of things, everyone's favorite mustachioed TV anchor played by Will Ferrell is getting the gang back together and heading to New York City to work for a new 24-hour news network.
"I'm gonna do the thing that God put Ron Burgundy on this earth to do: have salon-quality hair and read the news," deadpans Ron in a news executive.
With Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" playing over the soundtrack, the teaser also finds San Diego's Channel 4 news team bidding goodbye to the '70s and embracing the '80s.
We also see the newsman flirting with a new African-American love interest played by Meagan Good—though his efforts to "assimilate" with her family during a dinner scene toward the trailer's end makes for a rather uncomfortably hilarious situation.
Additionally, we get a look at Kristen Wiig playing the wife of Steve Carell's weatherman, Brick Tamland. Plus, Ferrell & Co. have to contend with a new rival anchor, played by James Marsden, in their midst.
Original cast members Christina Applegate, Paul Rudd, David Koechner, Fred Willard, Chris Parnell and Vince Vaughn all return for the Adam McKay–directed sequel, which is scheduled to hit theaters Dec. 20.
