So much for an amicable resolution.

Rachel Uchitel's rep initially stated that the Celebrity Rehab alum was hoping to end her marriage to Matt Hahn "quickly and quietly." But, according to her camp, that doesn't mean Uchitel isn't willing to stand up for herself.

"While it remains Ms. Uchitel's desire to resolve this matter in a private manner, she will if necessary, with the assistance of her attorneys and public relations counsel, vigorously defend herself against Matt Hahn's false and defamatory claim of, 'cruel and Inhumane treatment,'" publicist Howard Bragman said in a statement obtained Wednesday by E! News.

Hahn and Uchitel tied the knot in October 2011 and are parents to 1-year-old daughter Wyatt Lilly.

While Hahn filed for divorce in New York, where petitions are sealed, TMZ reported that the insurance underwriter, per his filing, was seeking a split on grounds of "cruel and inhumane treatment...such that the conduct of the defendant [Rachel] so endangers the physical or mental well being of the plaintiff as renders it unsafe or improper for the plaintiff to cohabit with the defendant."

Like his soon-to-be ex-wife, however, Hahn claims that he's not looking for a fight.

"All attorneys involved are dedicated to bringing this matter to a fair and equitable resolution," the law firm representing him said in a statement yesterday. "Mr. Hahn loves his daughter Wyatt and only wishes the best for her. Every effort will be made to achieve those goals without protracted litigation."
