Anna Paquin's character on True Blood may be a fairy, but there was no pink gloss or fairy sparkles to be seen during last night's True Blood premiere. Instead, Sookie channeled vampy cohorts like Pam and Jessica with pale skin, side-swept loose curls and subtle winged eyes.

Keeping with the side-swept tresses trend—which if you haven't noticed, is rampant on red carpets everywhere—Anna added a little edge to this look using a bit of gel at the crown and slicking back one side, rather than pinning it.

Our favorite fang banger didn't go overboard with the makeup either. Instead of a dramatic cat or smoky eye, she created a soft, winged eye with bronze and dusty rose. And rather than going with a true vampire red lip, Anna chose a creamy nude lipstick to bring more attention to her stunning eye makeup.

Get the Look: To copy Anna's sultry eyes, start by covering your entire upper eye area in a nude or ivory colored eye shadow, like NYX Nude Matte Shadow, Birthday Suit.

Then apply a matte dusty rose eye shadow like Illamasqua Eye Shadow in Dizzy to your crease using a domed crease brush, making a V-shape with the outer corner of your eyes. Blend the two shadows and soften the lines with small circles.

To give your eyes some added definition, use a black kohl eyeliner pencil such as Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Pencil, Jet Black  to draw a thin line along your upper lash line. If you're looking to match Anna's exact look, you'll also want to use that eyeliner pencil to line along the water lines of your eyes.

Next, use a bronze gel eyeliner like Tarte EmphasEyes Waterproof Clay Shadow / Liner to create a winged eye along the upper lash line. Make a line along your upper lash line starting from the inner corner and, as the line passes your eyeball, start thickening it. Then, create the wing by continuing to draw the top of the line towards your temples.

Now you want to line your lower lash line with the bronzed eyeliner. Once you get to the outer corner, draw the line upwards, connecting with the upper lash line's wing. To complete the look, you'll want to use a smudge brush to soften the lines and help blend the liner with the rose shadow in the outer corners.

To get Anna's neutral lip, use a nude lip pencil like Becca Nude Liner Plump & Define Lip Pencil to outline your lips and then fill in your entire lip with the pencil. This will help your lipstick last longer. Next, use a lip brush to apply a creamy nude lipstick, like CoverGirl Queen Collection Lipcolor Lipstick, Nude Attitude Q495.

Hint: To make your lips look fuller, try dabbing a clear gloss in the center of your lower lip to give it a sultry pout.

We were totally glamoured by Anna's vampy look, but it made us wonder: Is she trying to hint at a spoiler for this upcoming season?! Perhaps this nice little fairy will take a trip to the dark side with vampire Bill? Okay fine, maybe we're over-reaching and perhaps applying a little wishful thinking.
