2 Chainz has found himself in some legal shackles.

Just days after he was robbed at gunpoint in San Francisco, the rapper was busted Tuesday at Los Angeles International Airport after authorities allegedly found the MC carrying marijuana and a bottle of antihistamine laced with codeine, E! News has confirmed.

Per LAX police, at around 1 p.m., airport security discovered that the 35-year-old MC, whose real name is Tauheed Epps, had allegedly packed marijuana and a bottle of promethazine with codeine into his checked baggage after they responded to a call for a narcotics investigation at the baggage area.

Chainz, who had already boarded his flight, was then yanked from the aircraft and promptly arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance. He was subsequently taken to the LAPD Pacific Division jail where he was reportedly booked without incident.

It's been a rough week for Chainz: On Sunday afternoon, the rapper and six members of his entourage were walking around downtown San Francisco when they were allegedly confronted at gunpoint by two men, one of whom supposedly fired a shot in the air before the duo made off with Chainz's wallet, money, cell phone and credit cards. No injuries were reported.

The MC broke his silence about the incident two days later, finding some humor in it as he took to Twitter to quip: "we definitely got geeked up in San Fran, best smoke in the world. 2 blessed 2 stress."
