He's able to leap tall buildings in a single bound...and look pretty snappy on the red carpet, too.

Superman incarnate Henry Cavill hit up the world premiere of Man of Steel Monday night in New York City, where he and his leading lady, Amy Adams, walked the red carpet as they drummed up buzz for the Son of Krypton's latest reboot.

Adams glammed it up in a black strapless Nina Ricci dress with peekaboo lace bodice, while Cavill looked quite dapper in a gray Tom Ford suit and black tie.

No doubt, Cavill welcomed the sartrorial switcheroo: The actor has been hilariously candid about the, um, challenges that Superman's skintight costume presented whenever he had to answer the call of nature.

Anticipation is running high for this latest Superman redux given the tepid critical reception—and box-office returns—of the iconic superhero's last outing, 2006's Superman Returns, which raked in $200 million domestically but was widely considered a disappointment considering the hype.

Studio suits are already hedging their bets: Although Man of Steel is still set to open on Friday, Deadline reports that Warner Bros. Pictures is already getting the ball rolling on a sequel, which will reunite director Zack Snyder and screenwriter David S. Goyer.

Looks like that deal closed faster than a speeding bullet.
