UPDATE June 11, 2013: The New England Patriots confirm they've signed Tebow as a free agent quarterback. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

________

Tim Tebow has made his next career move.

The quarterback has reportedly joined the New England Patriots, according to ESPN and NBC Sports. The former Jet is set to join his new home at minicamp practice on Tuesday.

This news comes on the heels of Patriots coach Bill Belichick claiming that he didn't have any problems with the famous Tebow.

"Every single player has strengths and weaknesses. But regardless of that, for anyone to have represented that is the way I feel about Tim Tebow is completely untrue, baseless and irresponsible," he told ESPN Boston.

"It is unfortunately that something so inaccurate was reported."

Tebow was released from the Jets in April and responded to the news with a Bible passage via Twitter.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding…in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight," he wrote.

Tebow has made no secret of his strong religious beliefs throughout his sports career, and even trademarked the term "Tebowing" (the term that sprang up for when he drops to one knee in prayer on the field) after its massive success.

Tebow will join Gisele Bündchen's hubby (and current New England quarterback) Tom Brady on the team (and presumably as Brady's backup) for the upcoming NFL season.
