Pharrell Williams isn't a fan of reality TV.
So it's more than a little surprising that the music guru is set to star as a mentor on one very soon.
"I like to refer to myself as a helper, because mentor just sounds weird." the producer told E! New's Alicia Quarles. "It feels so reality show, and that's not my thing."
So, who talked the singer into give a reality show a chance? Rihanna.
"She asked me to be a part of it. I love what she's doing I love what she represents," gushed the Billionaire Boys Club designer. Adding: "There's a relentlessness there and that, to me, is awesome!"
But the "Diamonds" singer aside, Pharrell had another reason he wanted to do the show. He shares that he wanted to form a relationship with the Style Network for possible future endeavors.
We can't wait to hear what those could be!
(E! and the Style Network are part of the NBCUniversal family.)
