It's a curly contest!

Bradley Cooper has been rocking his some seriously frizzy tresses for his upcoming FBI drama American Hustle.

And it appears that he's not alone…

Thursday evening Coldplay frontman Chris Martin stepped out in London sporting a head full of curls himself!

Martin was seen leaving a performance at The Ormeley Dinner in a suit and tie and proudly showed off his grown-out mane. (We wonder what wife Gwyneth Paltrow must think?)

While Martin appears to have the ringlets naturally, Cooper rocked the look for his role in the David O. Russell drama which is slated for a 2014 release.

"I permed my hair today," the Oscar nominee told E! News at the BAFTA Tea reception. "We did a camera test today and we were playing with the idea of him having curly hair.

"Like rollers!" Cooper laughed. "Oh, yeah bro, like rollers in the hair!"

Let's hope this doesn't become a Hollywood male beauty trend!
