The dust had barely settled on The Walking Dead season three when new showrunner Scott Gimple started work on season four, and AMC has released a video to showcase what he's been up to and to really whet the appetite for fans.
In this first look at season four, the crew behind the hit series previews what's in store when the show returns in October, starting of course with the premiere. Executive producer Greg Nicotero described the first episode back as "bigger than any script I've ever done before."
He adds: "I think season four is going to be the best season yet."
