"It's just a ring and it fit that finger," a source tells E! News.

The six-foot-two-inch model wore a basic, white button-down shirt and jeans as she strutted through the city. She wore her hair in a messy ponytail and casually rocked her ring, looking nonchalant as paps snapped pics of the jewelry piece.

Her Maui-based boyfriend Slater Trout was also spotted wearing a similar ring during the couple's recent PDA-filled Hawaiian getaway, so it's possible she borrowed the ring to make a simple fashion statement.

The social media queen recently copped to meeting her beau on Twitter, telling Vanity Fair they met through "mutual flirting efforts on the Internet."
