When in Rome, or in this case, Sweden!

Alexander Skarsgård explained with funnyman Conan O'Brien that Swedish culture is far more accepting of nudity than America.

He also revealed that his father, actor Stellan Skarsgård, was often nude around the house while growing up.

"My dad and his side of the family are old hippies. I was 14 the first time I saw my dad wearing pants," he said. "He was always naked."

Skarsgård also admitted that his father spent plenty of time cooking in the buff. When the TV host asked if that was at all dangerous, the True Blood actor quipped, "It's not that big, so it's fine."

"The stove is really low, so it's not a problem," he clarified.
