Good thing Russell Brand knows a thing or two about breakups.

FX will not be ordering any more episodes of his comedy series Brand X, network CEO John Landgraf has announced.

Instead, the network will be moving forward with a new "scripted, live-action" comedy pilot with Brand attached as executive producer. It will be somewhat based on Brand's life, a la Curb Your Enthusiasm. The series is in its very early stages and does not yet have a writer on board.

Brand X started off as a taped weekly show and moved to a live format halfway through its first season. It aired a total of 26 episodes and the season finale aired May 2.
