TV hottie gets the wax treatment at the unveiling of her very own statue at the museum's Times Square location

If there's anything Sofia Vergara likes better than suntan oil, it's wax!

The Modern Family star was all smiles as she turned up at Madame Tussauds in New York City's Times Square Tuesday night to pose with her wax doppelgänger, which made its debut at the famed museum.

Per the New York Daily News, however, the event started 45 minutes late after an employee failed to dress Vergara's double in the outfit she wore to the 2012 Met Gala, which the Colombian beauty donated to Madame Tussauds for her buxom statue.

A source told the paper that when she learned of the switch, Vergara insisted the error be fixed before the wax figure was unveiled to the public.

But no matter what she's wearing, we think Sofia's sexy double looks as gorgeous as the real thing.
